Luke Nicholas multi-Supreme Champion award winning brewer and International Beer Judge, created Epic while still working for his previous employer, then purchased the brand on 1st October 2007. Since then Epic has continued to win awards, grow quickly, and become available nationwide in New Zealand. The beer we should all be drinking and we're privileged to have Luke join our foodie community. Compelling reading from one of New Zealand's supreme brewers.

Great Beer Bars of California (comments 17) I have just go back from a trip to the USA, primarily to do a collaborative brew with Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head Brewery. We have made a beer that will be entered as a Festive Brew for the BrewNZ Beer Awards, and be available for tasting at Beervana 27th & 28th August in Wellington. Anyway, my travels took me to three major Californian cities that have some really great beer bars. So as a quick guide for others traveling to these cities.
