New event coming to Auckland

And we had such a great time, there that we are going to be featuring at Indulgence with Euro.
It sounds as though it will be a foodie’s heaven with the best in cuisine (well obviously!), along with lots of girlie pamper things such as spa treatments, makeovers, and a whole hoard of retail therapy. Indulgence is taking place at the Ellerslie Event Centre in Auckland and is split into three sections - Pure Indulgence, featuring Euro, The Grove, Mollies, Vinnies and SidArt. We’re each presenting 2-3 of our signature dishes, and yes our famous “S.G’s crab & prawn in jalapeno crème fraiche sauce topped with tuna wafers” will be there! Alongside the cuisine are some fabulous wineries, and some fantastic entertainment!
Upstairs is Sweet Indulgence, which is everything it sounds like, and more! A Chocolate Cafe, a marketplace where you can stock up on everything delicious and indulge yourself further with an entire section dedicated to all things sweet. They’ve also got Paperplus on-board who are running a book shop with lots of hot deals for the weekend. And for the real booklovers, on Sunday only, the Paperplus “Books and Bubbles High Tea” will also be on, hosted by Kerri Woodham and featuring four of New Zealand’s best loved authors. And for those looking for inspiration, there is a whole line up of seminars as well.
The third area is aptly called Self Indulgence. This is where all the female pampering happens, with everything from spa treatments, (Mollies, I know, is one of the line up) to makeup artists, and skincare consultants.
The organisers have thought of everything as there is even an area for men too, so although I’ll be hard at work at in our Euro kitchen, I will make time to visit the Gentleman's Retreat with Whiskey tours, a pool table, some good sports on the TV, and a few other surprises! So don’t be afraid of all the pamper talk boys – there is a safe haven for you after you’ve had your fill of fine food and chocolate! In fact, you could get yourself a copy of the latest Lee Childs book from the bookshop, grab a drink, and settle in for a good read. Now when was that ever an option when you took your lady out shopping?
It sounds like a pretty Indulgent event to me, and I hope to see there! Tickets are on sale now at iticket.co.nz and to make things really easy for gift selections for Mum, or the special lady in your life, there are a number of gift vouchers you can add to the ticket purchase, such as a box of chocolates, a spa voucher, magazine subscriptions and even spending vouchers for the day.
